Coffee is the write giving force behind many a writer. Wine and whiskey too, have played their part. My only question is how come nobody ever gives praise to hot chocolate? Is the sweet silky depths not harsh enough to influence great writing?

I’m not a coffee drinker, but one of my favorite coffee-related quotes is from Buffy the Vampire Slayer: “Aren’t you supposed to be drinking tea anyway?” “Tea is soothing. I wish to be tense.” When it comes to caffeine, I am Team Tea all the way, lol.
Hot chocolate is good, it just needs to be more than the one-note-sweet of most hot chocolate mixes. If it’s creamy and complex and has some sort of zing, like a dash of cinnamon or spice or mint, that’s the jackpot.
I like that quote. I may have to borrow it for one of quote of the days. Lol. I love a dark chocolate with a little bit of sweetness and cream. But yeah team tea too.
